Diggs is a rebellious German Shepherd who's been in and out of kennels throughout his life due to his hot dogging (which got him booted from the police force and into the pound).Butch
Butch is an elderly Anatolian Shepherd dog who is the deuteragonist in the films. In the first film, he served as young Lou's mentor. In the second film (in which he appeared to be much older as his changed changed a lot), he is currently the mentor of Diggs.Cathrine
